About

My interest in photography goes way back. I can remember messing around with cameras when I was a child and I was always fascinated with them. When I was at school I did work experience at a commercial photographers, something I really enjoyed. However, life was to take me down a different path though I never lost interest in the subject.

I’ve always had a creative flair and that was why I did a masters in Literature. During this time my interest in photography developed further and I recognised many similarities in the process of literary criticism and photo critiques. Steadily my portfolio has been growing and I’m now bringing all these creative elements together.

I firmly believe that if you’re creatively-inclined you can channel your energies in different directions and in this sense although I would describe myself as a photographer I am equally happy calling myself a photographic artist as I think some of the images I capture can be stepping stones for artistic projects.

I really am grateful for you checking out my website. It is a labour of love and something I’m continuing to develop. I hope you enjoy looking around it and that you find the content stimulating.
